Who am I? Why am I here?
And why do I stay—day after day, year after year?
My name is Cestianna. I’m in my 50s; I’m a minister, a mother, a Global Change musician, a poet, and, at this writing, the manager of Cathedral Rock Lodge & Retreat Center in Sedona, Arizona.
It’s been over a decade now that I have been here in Sedona at the First Planetary Sacred Home working for Divine Administration, and, until now, I could not have expressed myself with the strong forthrightness I feel within me today.
An elder of mine (and a close friend as well) asked me this morning, “Are you being functionally associative ?”
Wow! What a question to ponder after just reviewing my emails full of phrases like:
“Rolex replicas at amazing prices!”
“Gambling on line….”
“Double your income…”
“More than 200 software titles from world leading manufacturers!”
“Need meds?”
“You have just won a special lottery on the internet……”
“Love enhancers………!”
“Diplomas without exams!”
“What are you paying for mortgage rates?”
“Are you sexually satisfied?”
“Guaranteed results with this latest proven weight loss…..”
Please! Talk about an insult to one’s intelligence! (Not to mention the waste of time!) This stuff really falls under the category of “dumbing down” and tapping into our “lower circuitry.”
But am I being functionally associative? I’d like to reflect on that one in this profile and just allow the Threefold Spirit of God to work with me here.
Growing up in a typical middle-class home in the 1960s in a Monroeville suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I was taught many good basic values. I remember lots of good neighbors; I did lots and lots of babysitting; and, I was raised a Lutheran on a block with many Catholics, Jews, Protestants, and atheists too. Often I would ponder, “If there is only ONE God, why are there so many different religions?” This query popped into my mind hundreds of times throughout the years ahead, and now I’m beginning to understand…..
There’s a spiritual rebellion on this planet that has been going on for hundreds of thousands of years—the Lucifer Rebellion. And The URANTIA Book 1 describes it very well—separation. Separation from the Universal Father. Separation from each other. Separation from our families. Separation from our God-given destinies. Separation of spiritual meanings from politics and science. And, if a “house divided” is doomed to “fall,” what about a “planet” divided?
Think about it… Information in the Bible is now 2000+ years old; and various versions of the Bible have been interpreted by man and rewritten over and over again. The Bible was given to serve humanity back then with stories and parables suitable for that day and time . We’re into the 21st century now. It’s time to move on…..
That’s what inspired me to come to this high desert region in Arizona and join Global Community Communications Alliance—wanting to move on and to help bring about global change—to help bring higher consciousness to this planet so that we (all planetary citizens) could work towards eliminating war, poverty, abuse, homelessness, and disease of all kinds—together! Gabriel of Urantia and Niánn Emerson Chase were the co-founders and the visionaries for this Divine New Order intentional community, and, from what I could sense, they were definitely sent by God to start a “Spiritualution™” on this planet—a mission that I wanted to be a part of and a society where my children could grow up according to God’s plan.
Throughout my life, I just didn’t fit in to the “mainstream” (cultural norm or socially accepted society). I was considered (and still am) the black sheep in my family. I refused to buy into the “great American dream,” where the socially and economically elite take unfair advantage of others. I am (and have always been) a spiritual activist searching for “truth, beauty, and goodness,” but I never found enough of the real inner truth, beauty, and goodness in the many churches and other so-called spiritual groups in which I participated, spanning over two decades.
Mother Theresa had always been an inspiration to me—selflessly serving humanity. It didn’t matter that she was Catholic and I wasn’t. What did it matter?..... Ah, yes—“separation” again. We were different. This, too, puts me in the “black sheep” category. I believe in One God; and that we are all His children (the Fatherhood of God and the brother-/sisterhood of humankind.) Yet, on this planet are we acting like a “family?” Do we really care about our “brothers” and “sisters” all over the world? Can we have unity without uniformity ? Are we helping each other to fulfill our God-given destinies ?
God has blessed me throughout my life with hundreds of gifts:
- Loving parents and safe, loving neighborhood, church, and school environments
- Education that provided me with the basics to live and work in the current society
- Experiences that allowed me to make choices (to serve others or to serve myself)
- Challenges that have grown me into a strong, God-knowing ascending daughter
- Meeting and marrying a wonderful man with whom we grew a beautiful blended family
- Learning and recognizing that my sons are older souls than I
- Developing friendships with like-minded people who desire to do good and follow God’s will
- Moving our family to Arizona to be part of Global Community Communications Alliance/Divine Administration
- Understanding the value of true eldership and the meaning of cosmic family
These are just some of what God has blessed me with in this life—my first life on Urantia (Earth). As an ascending daughter in Christ Michael’s (Jesus’) universe, I am blessed to be a new light soul (first-time Urantian) and to have found Planetary Sacred Home in Arizona, learning and growing with many older starseed and ovan souls.2
We are creating a new culture here—a fourth-dimensional society—built on godly values. I am inspired by a quote from The URANTIA Book which states, “We cannot search out God by knowledge, but we can know Him in our hearts by personal experience.” (p. 1453)
And that’s what I would like to share with you above anything else. I am learning and growing by personal experience the realities of cosmic family and Divine Administration through my participation in the ministry here at Global Community Communications Alliance. This is why I am here. This is why I stay here day after day, year after year.
I see the beauty in the relationships around me. I recognize the importance of true eldership. I see my sons growing into fine, godly ascending sons, along with all of the other precious children here. I see people changing and growing—inwardly and outwardly. I see joy and hope, love and laughter, tears and sorrow, support and conviction, creativity and fun; but most importantly, I see God in each soul here. And I see our various outreach ministries flourishing and serving others—here in Sedona, in Arizona, in other states, and in other countries.
So I ask you, “Are you being functionally associative ? Are you fulfilling your God-given destiny purpose?”
Our lives here are meaningful, challenging, and uplifting. We know a love that is beyond words, and we are blessed. We study The URANTIA Book and The Cosmic Family volumes, and we live by those principals. We’re learning about “ascension science”3 and how it affects everything and everyone on this planet and beyond.
